I recently found the prettiest vintage style blue floral melamine plates at Target. Seriously, these dishes are stunning in person! And in my humble opinion, they could totally pass for a stack of mismatched vintage blue and white china plates. But the best part about this find is that because they’re melamine, they aren’t breakable! So they’re perfect for families with little ones like us, or even to use for outdoor dining.
When I shared the Studio McGee blue floral melamine pieces on my Instagram stories, so many of you loved them too! In fact, various pieces from the collection keep selling out, and at least for now Target has been restocking them periodically.

I really appreciate when I find new items that remind me of vintage pieces, and these dishes totally fit the bill! They’re beautiful enough to display, and durable enough to actually use without worrying about them getting broken. Ten out of ten!

Melamine is a great dinnerware option for entertaining. Especially if you like to enjoy a meal outdoors on the porch or patio, or even poolside! I purchased these pretty but durable dishes for our farmhouse with summer grilling season in mind. But they fit so well into our home’s collected cottage farmhouse aesthetic that I just might leave them out so we can enjoy them every day.
