You know that fall is coming when the amber glass starts popping up here on the blog! Am I right?!?! Well friend, I thought today would be the perfect day to share my take on a vintage farmhouse tablescape for fall! This weekend I pulled out some of my favorite fall decor, and a couple new pieces too, to create this cozy seasonal centerpiece for our dining room. I love expressing my creativity by styling spaces in our farmhouse! And I hope it brings some inspiration to you each time you visit the blog!!
Most of the items in this fall tablescape are things I already owned. I purchased the fall stems and the small terra cotta colored pumpkins from the dollar spot at Target recently, but the faux pumpkins were from last year’s fall decor. The runner is actually a few yards of a ticking stripe fabric folded over and used as a make shift runner. (Spoiler alert: I bought this fabric for a future DIY, but I thought I may as well use it as a table runner until I’m ready to tackle that project.)
The amber glass was all dug up, yes… you read that right! We actually dug it all up from around our property. You can read more about that in this post. The wood riser was a Vintage Market Days find. And last but not least there’s the dough bowl candle in the center of it all!
I was gifted this beautiful, 6 wick dough bowl candle from Marmeez, a new to me small shop who I am now a raving fan of! Marmeez actually reached out to me to try out their candles and share it with y’all over on my Instagram. And because I loved it so much, I decided to dedicate an entire blog post to my new candle and the fall tablescape I styled it in. And FYI, this is not a sponsored post. Just something I was really excited about and wanted to share here on the blog with y’all!
This dough bowl candle is the piece that inspired me to put this vintage farmhouse tablescape together in the first place! Let me tell you a little about it… The candle is a hand poured soy candle that burns soot free and smells ah-freaking-mazing! I chose one of the fall scents called Farmer’s Market. I’ll link it for y’all here because I know some of you are gonna want to try this one in your home!! To me, smells like fresh cut apples on a brisk fall day. I absolutely loved the scent! It’s perfectly refreshing and warm for fall! And I especially loved the dough bowl as a vessel!!
Here are a few different varieties of candles you can find in Marmeez’ Etsy Shop! They even have a whole collection of farmhouse inspired scents like “cozy cottage”, “farmhouse plaid”, and “homestead”. I can’t speak to any of the other scents, but I was so impressed by the Farmer’s Market scent from the fall collection!! And so I can only imagine how good the other scents are… Click the photos below in order to shop each item in Marmeez’ Etsy Shop.
The weather started to cool off just a little bit here in eastern NC. And I do mean just a little bit! The highs were only 80’s and low 90’s this past week. It’s been a hot summer here, and I am ready for it to start feeling more like fall outside!! But now at least it’s feeling a lot more like fall in the dining room!! I’ll take what I can get…
I loved styling our dining room with this vintage farmhouse tablescape for fall! And I hope you enjoyed seeing the photos too!! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog to catch up with me friend! It means the world to hang out with you here, so as always, thank you so much for following along…
