Welcome to the next post in the White and Woodgrain Holiday Home Tour! Today I wanted to share this neutral Christmas vignette with y’all! This look is pretty toned down in terms of your typical holiday decor, and it has more of a natural vibe which I absolutely love! The simplicity of it has made it one of my favorite holiday looks in our home!
I put this look together using some of the vintage glass we found in the honey hole of honeyholes! You can read about that here. This collection of vintage amber glass bottles adds warmth and a little color to the space. It’s also a sentimental nod to earlier generations who lived here before me!
The cedar trimmings came from trees around the farm, which makes this look super budget friendly, but still festive and wintery! I can hear my Granny now saying “Trash and branches, youngin’ you made it look perty!” When Christmas is over, this look could easily transition to winter decor allowing us to enjoy it even longer.
The “Merry and Bright” scroll is a DIY if you can believe it! I actually blogged the steps on how to make these farmhouse scroll signs here. They’re easy to make, and they’re an affordable way to add to your holiday decor! I’ve enjoyed being able to swap these out seasonally and will be making more throughout the year!
To finish this look, I added one last touch… Fairy Lights! I have been using these on everything this holiday season! They add just enough glow and sparkle to warm up a space.
What do you think? I hope this neutral Christmas vignette inspires you to “branch out” with your holiday decor this season! See what I did there? To see other posts in the Holiday Home Tour, click here. And as always, thanks for following along…
I love it! I actually have some bottles like the ones you have around my house. My kids are always exploring the woods and bringing them home to me 🙂
I think I will try and make a display!
That’s the sweetest thing! You should do it! 🙂
Those amber bottles are gorgeous! What a lucky score! Very clever adding the branches and fairy lights too for a whimsical, winter touch. Love this!
Well thank you! I was so excited to find them all and in good shape too! Glad you liked it! 🙂
