My Favorite Vintage Style Metal Beds

When I share photos of my children’s rooms, I always get questions about their beds! Both of their beds are antique metal beds that we saved from “The Old House” before we re-built our farmhouse. They definitely add to that classic farmhouse look, and in my humble opinion they’re pretty timeless too. So today on the blog, I wanted to share both of the antique metal beds we have in our farmhouse alongside some of my favorite new but vintage style metal beds.

When we found these beds, they were pretty rusty and needed some major tlc. So we sanded them down and painted them, and now they’re good as new! They really cleaned up nicely, and we love them even more because they were family pieces. But if we hadn’t had these beds, I think I still would have chosen a vintage style metal bed for our kids’ bedrooms.

I love the classic look of a metal bed! I think they add so much character and charm to a bedroom, but finding a vintage / antique bed can be a challenge. And then there’s the added challenge of refinishing / repairing it! That’s why I’m so excited to share some of my favorite new, vintage-style metal beds.
