guestbooks are for homes, not just weddings

When the farmhouse was still under construction, I picked up a guestbook in anticipation of many future visits from friends and loved ones. I dreamt of years from now, being able to flip through its pages, reminiscing over the names of and well wishes scribbled throughout the book. I imagined the feeling of discovering the words of a loved one who had passed away. And I know already how much I would cherish that last handwritten message. Our farmhouse guestbook is probably my favorite traditions that we’ve started here in our forever home! And I was feeling inspired to share it with y’all here on the blog today!

I’m excited to share the messages that fill these pages with our children one day! And I think this little book will end up being like an heirloom of sorts. When our current guestbook fills up, we will start a new one, and continue on and on as more friends and family gather here in this place that we call home. I have loved our Kate Spade Well Wishes Guestbook. Unfortunately it’s unavailable anywhere online so I wasn’t able to grab a second copy for us or link it here for y’all. I still have a little time before it fills up, but I’ve been shopping around for options in advance! And I thought today would be the perfect time to share a few with y’all here on the blog!!

Usually when you think of guestbooks, you think of weddings. And some of these are actually wedding guestbooks, but they’re not overly wedding themed. And many are customizable so you can add your own name, your street name, etc. These are some of my favorite guestbook options… Let me know which ones you like best!!

I’m a sucker for incorporating sentimental touches in our farmhouse. And I know this kind of thing appeals to so many of us! Our farmhouse guestbook was an easy way to add a sentimental touch to our home. And it’s also a great way to start creating a little bit of history for future generations of our family. Also, these would make such a thoughtful housewarming gift! I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I hope it inspired you to start a new tradition in your own home! As always thanks so much for following along…

Love, Brittany
