8 Pretty Rooms with Pink Painted Trim (P.S. Now I’m Thinking Pink!)

Today on the blog, I’ll be sharing some of the prettiest rooms with white walls and pink painted trim!

P.S. this post is part of a new blog series here at whiteandwoodgrain.com…

The P.S. stands for pins and saves, and in this series I’ll be gathering up all the photos of rooms, interiors, and homes that are inspiring me the most lately!

In my last P.S. post, I shared 12 pretty rooms with blue painted trim.

And I also shared that, as a part of the big kid room refreshes we’re working on, I’ll be painting both my son and my daughter’s rooms.

The walls in both of their rooms will be white (they’re currently gray), and I’m heavily considering painting all the trimwork blue!

But I’ve since had another idea! What if I painted the trim in my son’s room blue, and the trim in my daughter’s room pink?!

She loves the color pink! Her rug, bedding, curtains, and a lot of the decor in her room is pink, and much of that will be staying.

So pink painted trim could be a fun way to make her room feel more girly and fun for her.

But on the flip side, she also loves blue. There are smaller touches of blue in her room too. In the rug, on her stuffy basket, in the quilt on her bed… So blue painted trim could stand out and pop against the rest of the pink tones throughout the space.

I’m so torn about blue vs. pink – so I thought it would be helpful to round up some inspo pics of rooms with pink painted trim.

Don’t forget to pin this for later!

Today I’ll be sharing some of my favorite pink painted trim pins and saves with you while I decide.

Let’s scroll together and look through some of the photos I found!

Muted Blush Pink Board and Batten

First up, this sweet little girl’s bedroom with blush pink board and batten trim!

I love how pretty all the pink looks in this space!

My daughter’s room doesn’t have the paneling like this, but her room has a lot of doors that would be painted pink to match the trim. The entry door, the door that leads to the bathroom, and 4 closet doors.

It would be a lot of pink – but I think it could be beautiful!

Pale Pink Bathroom Doors and Trim

Next up, a pretty bathroom with pale pink trim around the window and doors.

Gosh I just love how the pink trim and white walls look in this room. The pink totally highlights all the details around that window.

I know it’s not a bedroom, but I have been searching for high and low for rooms with white walls and pink trim and this was one of my absolute favorites!

Dusty Rose Wall Paneling

A little bit of a deeper, darker pink – this dusty rose colored wall paneling caught my eye and I had to save it for inspo!

It looks like a historic paint color and it’s making me think maybe I should sample something similar in our home.

My daughter’s room doesn’t get as much natural light as other rooms in our home because of where it’s positioned, but it could be fun to test out a more historically inspired shade of pink in her room!

Peachy Pink Painted Built-ins and Trimwork

Another favorite save – this peachy pink is so good!

I love the built-ins in this space, and I think they look so pretty painted pink, along with the pink crown molding and the arched paneling on the lower half of the walls.

A little further up in this post, I mentioned the 4 closet doors in my daughter’s room. Her closet spans the entire length of the wall. There are 2 sets of double doors. But it’s all one big closet.

I’d love to cut the closet in half, and rip out one side of it along with 2 of the closet doors. Then I could create a built-in bookshelf in that space where the closet currently is.

I think it would give her more functional storage for books and all her little girly nick nacks. And how pretty would they look painted pink like the shelves in this photo?!

Light Pink Doors and Pink Painted Wall Paneling

Ok, next let’s look at another beautiful bedroom with light pink paint on the doors, window trim, and wall paneling.

This space is just so darling! It’s girly but not “little girl” if you know what I mean.

Maybe it’s the desk, maybe it’s the more grown up looking rug, or maybe it’s the fresh clean white walls contrasting with all the pink.

This is a room, and a color combo I could see my daughter growing with, instead of outgrowing. Which is the goal!

Pastel Pink Interior Doors

There are so many shades of pink to consider – but I do love a classic pastel pink!

And how sweet does this pastel pink paint color look on the door inside this ultra girly room?!

It’s giving me a lot to consider! And with my daughter’s room having less natural light than other rooms in our home, a pastel pink hue just might be the way to go.

Neutral Pink Interior Doors & Trim

On the flip side, I could go a whole other direction with more of a beigy pink. This next space has a very subtle pink paint color on all the doors, trim and built-ins.

The color is so pretty, but in this room it could almost pass as a neutral color!

Like it’s pink, but not overly PINK or too girly. Honestly I think the floral wall paper adds a little more of a feminine touch than the pink trim does in this office space.

This is definitely another fun and very inspiring color option to consider. And of course I’m loving the built in shelves and that pretty desk space!

Pretty Pink Painted Staircase

Last but not least… and I know this one’s a stretch, but go with me for a second because this photo might be my favorite photo in today’s post!

The way I gasped when I saw this pink staircase! And those floors!

I have been in awe ever since I saw this photo on Pinterest!

I had to do some digging to find the original source. But it turned out to be a photo from an old house listing on the Stow Brother’s website.

The house is no longer for sale, as far as I can tell, but I wanted to give credit as best as I could!

We have pine flooring in our farmhouse, and I dream of the day when they are aged and worn like these. (I also dream of painting our pine floors but that’s a story for another day.)

The point is, this particular shade of pink, combined with the white walls and the warmth of these old wood floors is just stunning and so inspiring to me as I think about painting the trim pink in my daughter’s room!

Now that you’ve seen all the inspo pics – what do you think?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on painting the trim in my daughter’s room pink!

I’m just as torn as ever, because I still like the idea of blue painted trim. But I am LOVING all the shades of pink in today’s post!

It’s gonna be a tough decision to make, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated on this project.

And if you’re new to White and Woodgrain, I’d love to invite you to join in on the fun and be a part of my email community!

I’ll be sharing more behind the scenes of the big kid room refresh project over in my email newsletters as I try to choose between blue and pink – and I’ll definitely be sharing all the colors I sample when that time comes too.

In the meantime, thanks for stopping by the blog today!

I love getting to share the inspiration behind the projects, and give you a little peek into my brain and my process for it all.

And I think this new P.S. series is going to be a fun way to do just that! So I truly hope you’re enjoying it so far and finding a little inspo for your home here too!!

Until next time…

Love, Brittany
