Recently I decided to sample all of the neutral and white Fusion Mineral Paint colors. ALL of them y’all! I don’t know about you, but for me it’s so hard to choose a paint color just based on a paint chip or a photo on the paint maker’s website.
What helps me most is seeing the color in real life, or at least in a real home and in a real person’s photos. So I decided to test out all the neutrals and whites and I am so excited to share them with y’all today on the blog!
I hope this post serves as a helpful resource for you, and maybe even helps you find a new favorite Fusion Mineral paint color or two for your next paint project!!
Many of the colors in today’s post are personal favorites of mine, and colors I have used in our farmhouse!
I absolutely love to paint! It’s peaceful and calming to me, and it fills my creative cup. And Fusion Mineral Paint has always been my go to paint for furniture and DIY’s! But picking a paint color is still such a hard task, even for someone who paints often.
I’d argue that choosing a color is usually the hardest part of any paint project.
Maybe I’m just indecisive, but either way, I think my indecisiveness is going to work in both of our favor because it gave me the idea for this post!
Testing All the Whites & Neutrals from Fusion Mineral Paint
I tested 18 different paint colors from the Fusion line. Basically all the white and the lighter neutral colors.
I know that’s a lot of paint colors y’all! So to make things easier, and to keep them organized in today’s post, I split them up into smaller groups with similar undertones below.
The WHITE-WHITES
These are the whitest whites from Fusion Mineral Paint.
To me, Picket Fence and Casement look very similar in person. They look like true whites. Parchment was beautiful and is a new color to Fusion’s line. But Victorian Lace was my favorite of these 4 paint colors! I can’t wait to try it out in our home!
To shop any of the paint colors I tested out, click on the name of the color below. The color names are linked directly to Fusion Mineral Paint’s website.

GRAY TONES / COOL WHITES
These colors could pass for white in the right space and in the right lighting, but in my opinion they all have gray undertones. Grays can be just as tricky as whites.
To me, Lamp White is a super light gray. Sterling looked silvery and almost blueish depending on the light. Pebble was a darker gray, not super dark just not super light like Lamp White. Cobblestone was my favorite from this group! I think I was drawn to the warmth and I found that Cobblestone looked more gray next to the other grays. Take my word for it, it’s a good one y’all!

BEIGE TONES / WARM WHITES
These colors could pass for white in the right space and in the right lighting, but they all have a little more warmth and creaminess to them.
Plaster was my least favorite because it felt too yellow for my taste, but it’s a toss up between the other three! If you want a soft cream color go with Raw Silk. Limestone had slightly more color to it than Raw Silk, and still felt creamy to me. Champlain is one to try if you want a warm white with more beige than yellow undertones. It’s a great white, and one I’ve used before and loved in our home!

NEUTRALS
And last but not least, one of my favorite paint color groups… the neutrals!
Putty is a great neutral and a long time favorite of mine! It’s the perfect greige / mushroom color. Cashmere is a recent favorite that I’ve used on a side table in our living room. It’s light and works great as a truly neutral off-white. Bedford was beautiful in person and showed more green tones to me. It was like a muted and earthy gray green.
Chateau and Cathedral Taupe are new to me colors and I’m so glad I got the chance to test them out! They are both colors I’d love to use and I think they both would be a great neutral to mix in with all my woods and whites. I also didn’t see pink in Cathedral Taupe, just a warm taupey brown.

Fusion Mineral Paint FAQ’s
What’s so special about Fusion mineral paint?
- the paint adheres really well – so most pieces require little to no sanding / primer / prep work
- it has a built-in top coat so you don’t need to seal it
- all Fusion products are non-toxic, lead free, virtually odorless, and have zero VOC’s
- the paint covers really well and comes in so many beautiful color options, not just whites and neutrals (though those are definitely my favorites!)
do you have a favorite color?
This is such a hard one!
My go to Fusion Mineral paint colors have always been Raw Silk and Putty. But I recently tried Cashmere on a side table and it’s such a good color! It’s very light and pretty similar to Raw Silk in that way, but it’s a little less warm toned. More tan than cream, and light enough to pass as white. So if Raw Silk looks a little yellow to you, you may want to give Cashmere a try!
